British Society for Rheumatology
“The ROI is second to none… The support is clear and organised. The processes and solutions make perfect sense. I knew straight away we would be in safe hands and that we would see significant improvements.”
Francesca Cockshull, Head of Publishing, British Society for Rheumatology
With a team member leaving and a significant increase in the number of submissions, the British Society for Rheumatology looked to Editorial Office to not only offer cover, but to use their expertise to automate processes and speed up the workflow.
In 2020, the British Society for Rheumatology experienced a significant increase in the number of submissions and they were struggling to keep on top of everything. When a member of the team left and the society was not in a position to replace them quickly, Head of Publishing, Francesca Cockshull, turned to Editorial Office to ensure they were not short staffed for more than a few days.
Editorial Office were able to step in and cover the workload. We also evaluated the Society’s publishing processes to help automate and speed things up, after the Society’s team had identified some bottlenecks in the system.
